Connecting to a Windows Network…
So, i bring my mac laptop into work.
As is the case in 99.9999999999999999999999999999% of office workplaces, we run a MS network here.
I have a share set up on my server, and i can connect to it on the mac so i can copy files to it.
Open finder, click on server in network (osx reads keychain for stored password), shares listed, open share. Easy.
However, if i happen to close that finder window, why must it take at least 2 minutes to open the same share again on the same server?
Kind of throws the whole ‘bluescreened’ pc icon into sharp relief.
